Swim Stim and Halibut pastes

I have recently had some of the above pots of these pastes sent me but would like to stiffen them more, any ideas how I go about this please?

have you tried putting them in the fridge/freezer?

Take out as much as you need and mix a little dry breadcrumb with it. Don't add the breadcrumb to your pots. It'll probably make it go off. It might be a good idea to put the pots in the fridge afterwards anyway. Tie them up in a bag first though.

Ive found that adding a small amount of cornflour to paste will stiffen it up enough to use.
