a good method for despatching flounder?

flounder taste lovely, especially grilled and a 2lb fish has lots of meat on it

 

the only trouble with flounder is trying to deter the small ones, even a 6" fish will happily take a 2/0 and as they dont run off with the bait, they can easily take the hook down into the stomach without the rod showing any movement....consequently we try and use large bendy hooks to the chances of having to cut a hook off is reduced
