Two days of exposure and the alarms are STILL working :)

Much admired on the bank, in fact there were a LOT of disbelieving questions,

Maybe a silly question, but the volume control.......how low can you turn them down?

Same as adjusting the tone and sensititivity(sp), keep pressing the button til required volume is reached. :)

Oh and it's a rotary thingy on the receiver. :)

Didn't read all the question but you can turn them to an acceptable level. ;)

I've seen your headwear so your idea of acceptable may well differ from mine :P:P:P

I actually hate bite alarms but may consider them if they can be turned down so ONLY I can here then 6 feet away.

Went back to my local Lidl again today, most of the fishing gear still there except the night lights, pity 'cos I was gonna buy some more. They seem very good nice and bright and last at least 6 hours, left one in the bedroom last night and watched it until I fell into a deep sleep  Yep!! ....great those night lights

What brand were they? And what sort of money?

I used to buy and sell a few bits, nightlights included. Can't remember the name of them, but I have a few at work somehwere. The idea of having them in the room at night has just given me an idea for my little girls bedroom :)

Distributed through B SQUARE FISHING? Manufactuer is Delta Sport Tel 00 800 88 08 08 08 hope that helps. Not quite as bright as a super bright led, but still very good.

Price was £2.99 I think!!! but certainly under £3.00 for 50.

Theres another alternative to the nightlights rabbit.....

some card shops sell those glow sticks which are 6 inches long in tubes of 25 (for kids to link together and make things) for ONE POUND. I bought 4 tubes of those too and they work fine. No good for floats of course but great for taping to the end of the rod when night barbelling on the river.

The first lidl I visited had sold out of lights but the second one had abotu 15 boxes left......I did toy with buying em all but settled for 5 boxes.

If i'd bought em all you can bet yer ass the bottom would have dropped out of the flourescent chemical market
