Hi,

i have never used a multiplier, and know next to nothing about em. I have been lent an Abu 6000c to try out. Anyone know if this is suitable for use over rough ground, and also a bit of inshore boat fishing?

:cool: A bit on the light side for rough ground fishing and depending on what you're fishing for inshore and how much lead you'd need it may be OK but a 7000c or SL20SH may be better.

would not use it on the rough stuff.sl20sh or a sl30sh would cover both your reqiurments well. They have the line capacity and the high speed retrive you need to get the lead and the hooks clear of the snaggy bottom .

Cheers for the replies lads, will probably just use it off the boat then. If it goes well, may invest in a multiplier of my own
