Wrong Track Listings on WMP

Lid

Recommended Posts

This evening I put The Best of the Shadows CD into my PC to listen to in the background using Windows Media Player. It goes and gets a track listing from somewhere on the Internet, but this listing is the wrong one (its nearly right, just missing a track in the middle).

I can see the correct listing is present on MSN, so is there a way for me to get the correct listing to show when I play this CD?

Thanks.

If you're ripping the CD, when the machine finds the wrong track list from the net, hit the "Find Album details" tab and do a manual search until you get the right information.

You might also have to alter the "ignore files smaller than" setting if there are very short tracks on the album.

If all else fails, just cut and paste track details.

If you're only using the machine as a CD player, sorry, no idea.
