Treated myself to four solar powered lights from Woolworths yesterday - half price @ £14.99 the set.

 

Look a bit naff during the day, but make the pond look great at night. Might actually be tempted to spend some time with my fish this year

We also bought a cheap set of solar powered pond lights from woolies at the weekend. Three submersible lights made to look like rocks and a solar panel to charge them. The rock pattern is almost identical to the rocks in our waterfall, so they're well disguised. I'm quite impressed with them. We've also got some little solar powered lights we bought from Homebase last year for about six quid each. The solar panel is on top of the light, so no wires involved and you just stick 'em wherever you want 'em. Much less hassle than the systems where you have to clip them onto a wire and force a couple of teeth through the insulation.
