Rattler

I keep hearing about the rattler system and the fact that it has been banned at some waters.

What is it and how does it work? Can I buy it or must I make my own?

No, it apperantly involves a ping-pong ball and feeder, I think.

Is the idea that the ball makes the feeder float, and it acts like a sort of bagging waggler, then? :confused:

the rattler is a method used for catching f1's when they are in a feeding frenzy up in the water.either a small pike bung or a ping pong ball is used as a float. keep feeding maggots until the fih are competing for food then bait your hook and cast into the swirls. the bung acts much like a bolt rig the fish will hook it self gainst the weight of the bung.no need to strike.
