As far as tope are concerned Strangford Lough is supposed to be full of them, I always hear the boat anglers talking of taking big tope at the bar mouth of the lough but I have never seen one yet.

 

My claim to fame is 52lb conger in Ardglass at night. Scary Bickies. I didn't wanna remove the hook from that monsters mouth. Pure fluke tho.

 

If you ever up and about and im free I would be sure to go for a paddle or fish in the area.

 

Oh and your nickname for my newly aquired Prowler might just stick. I might just christen her "The OK Flamer"

 

(If you see on any other forums or know of any or "Northerners" as you call us that kayak fish, point me in their direction. I need to find a paddle buddy to go out fishing with around here.)
