What a sight

Piking on my local reservoir today,when some little old ladies walking past asked me if it was a trout water.I asked tyhem why,and they told me therer were loads of trout further up the res.I had to check,the bream were spawning big time,coulpe of hundred fiah,up to 2 1/2ft long,getting luvved up.What a sight.

Looks like theres guna be a few blanks on the cards if the fish are starting to spawn

Oh but you can't do that Elton. The Bream have to breed in peace. You can't have some post-spawn Pike thrashing around......lol!......

i think ill try pikeing either this year or begging of next
