Snatcher,

 

I'm still planning on coming down as well, just not sure of the exact dates as I'll not be able to make the whole week. Sleeping bag and case of beer no problem. Heck, I'll even bring my bivvy bag just incase the floorspace is taken......or you guys kick me out for snoring!

 

I'll state my mission as well, catch a tope from the shore.....any size tope as long as its a tope.

Well I can show you the spot to try,its only 2 miles from the caravan. Will try and get more info on it spanner. If Manxman has his boat over at the time he said he will take my bait out for me - now there is an offer you cannot refuse. Its a pity Yak was not coming up with his yak!

may try to go along to the casting comp at castle kenedy this sunday for some tips on casting and the odd mark or two with v.short yomp and easy access the key

 

haven't tied anything fluffy as i would't know were to start awaiting myagi influence have cans chilling (outside)

Is this fly casting Andrew or lead chucking? Would go myself if it was nearer.Bill Hutchinson who has a caravan at Maryport says bass are still being caught in the Drummore area. Not fancy a bash with a popper or one of my lures behind a controller float. Will PM you a couple of marks to try.
