That whole stretch turns up plenty of Bass I'm told but I've never wet a line at it myself.

I have fished the Monrieth area with mixed results.

The best fish taken last year(not too far from the site) was a 12 lb'er on a plug.

The best I've seen was 10lb 8oz on a plug and a couple of years earlier the same guy took a 12lb 8oz fish on........ Float fished Lugworm, in the middle of a hot July day.

I'm planning to fish where the Luce enters the bay. Should only be a twenty five minute trip from the harbour up the bay.

I've got a load of flys tied up especially for there, you never know what could turn up.

 

I've had some good results fishing hot sunny days in the summer especially HW on big tides, one spot your guaranteed fish, only schoolies tho', the exception was the day I brought Snatcher.

Hey Tack I have done lads week at the Mull for 8 years now but this promises to be "different". Even more madder than normal- is that possible?

Loads of bodies in lounge area - cannot wait.
