Hi Bill, in answer yes been out a few times, but most of the time playing with pike down on the cannel, Have been making all sorts of flies for this year, but leaving the UK end of June to give the french a run for a few months along the normandy beeches, can,t wait to get out there and go where the boat can,t get to,

It would be nice to get out with the master ( bill) before to long. terry

Had much luck with the Pike ?

Never fished for them myself, good sport I should think ?

You lucky sod,.......off to French France for a couple of months ....show em how its done.

 

Been looking at buying a tying vice myself, need to learn how to tie the flies.

Think I will make that a winter project, when the weather is nasty and cold.

 

Yep......have to chuck some fluff together before you go, I will be starting propper at the end of this month.

Im happy to say Millsey is back this year after a busey time at home.

Will have to get out with him and Laurence, and anybody else interested for an hour or two.

Bill, good to hear from you, In fact I am tying a few flies now,

I have may old vice you can have to give you a start if you like let me know and I will drop it round, its very basic but will do until you get something better.

Yes I am going to be giving them french hell this summer and a few germans to when I pop across for a reinactment of some napoleonic battle, look like a b===dy fool all dressed up
