This female Blue shark was caught today by Mr Brian Oates from the isle of Man, who is on the left.

It is well over two metres in length and approx 100lbs in weight.

Oh and it was 34c on the deck and sunny

hi dave heading down that way 2nd week o july a bit info on the fishing then from boat and shore any thing worth a bash at not been before any info cheers .

Hi cocky, in July you should be able to catch, Blue sharl, Mako shark, Dorado, BIg Garfish and matbe Marlin if you are lucky.

Pick and choose your boats, some are just tourist boats with about 20 people on at a time, try to find a proper angling boat (like mine).

 

From the beach/piers mainly small fish (sea Bream) better fishing at night, try cockles and prawns for bait found in any supermarket.

We have caught two more 100lb plus Blue shark in the last week, one by Leigh on sea angler David Cousins at 110lbs and one today by 12 year old Sam Mackinnon with a little help.

The fishing is really buzzing here at the moment.
