Just happened to be sitting by some water for a few hours today

 

Was really please with the first two shots, the third I've included, even though it's not very as it was so very nearly the shot I had im mind

And so very nearly got the shot I wanted, non of the obscuring leaves showed up at all in the viewfinder, and by the time I'd checked the shot they were gone

Damn shame about No. 3 that would've been a cracker, I suppose you could try & clone out some of the offending leaves in the foreground, but it would be more fun to go back & try & get the shot again.

 

It looks like Mrs Mallard is going to have her hands full with that lot. There's not much chance of seeing any young 'uns round our way if these two are anything to go by.
