It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

I had but didnt get the buzz from the match scene as i thought i would. unfortunatley i cant afford to have both, having a young family and the associated bills. I decided to sell to put towards my new carp stuff.... is this a crime?? Ebay wise, yes i got someone to bid it up for me because i didnt want to be charged for a reserve and again i couldnt afford to let it go for peanuts, i wanted my money back .... again is this a crime?

Yes I know and I am sorry, i just wanted to clear a few thing up. The up shot is anyway Im in the market for a decent carp set up and just want to go fishing.... badly!

Well, it is certainly against eBay rules and would get your account and the other bidders account closed instantly if discovered.

 

No idea about the UK but in the US, shill bidding on auctions is also a police-type crime and not something I'd want to confess to on an open forum.
