Hazel Update, positive vibes . . .

We are fighting back!!! Please keep those positive thoughts flooding this way, cancer can be beaten

 

Ups and downs, in and out of Hospital, 999, Paramedics and looking like a puppet with all those tubes attached. A perforated stomach wall was not part of the deal? But the Docs are very pleased with the progress she has made. Hazel spent 5 days with goodness knows how may bags of antibiotics and rehydration fluid drips, 'Nil by mouth for 5 days' , a real bummer. They took enough CY scans and X-rays to keep Kodak in profit for the next five years, lol

 

At the end of it all the verdict, the perforation had healed! Hazels comment . . . "thats one hurdle over, on to the next one" The key is temperature, if her temperature is stable then we do not need to worry to much, every thing is going to plan.

 

We had a couple of hours in the town this morning, and after a kip this afternoon, her temperature was 37.1, perfect. She said "I feel great", those words were a real tonoic

 

Got the card marked for tomorrow, a short afternoon fishing trip, see if we can winkle a few bass from the Stour?? Sound like its still a bit like hard work, but we will see.
