Steve, as someone who comes from what the establishment might call a 'dysfunctional family' I can truly say I'm both pleased for you and genuinely envious. I bet you are over the moon......I'm more than pleased for you.

Just heard I'm going to be a Grandad! This is very special to me as my son made contact with me again only just before Xmas. Since my first marriage broke up I'd hardly seen him and we hadn't spoken for years (his idea not mine).

 

Now, I've not only got my son back. but I've a wonderful future daughter-in-law as well. Plus of course a grandchild on the way - someone I assumed I'd never see!

 

Is there a smiley for doing cartwheels?

Hope everything turns out fine,

I am not going to be a grandad but i am going to be a dad again.

My wife is 14 weeks pregnant and my fingers are crossed that it will be a boy this time.
