Coarse fishing

hi

ive recently moved to scotland and im living in livingston im really after information on where to coarse fish and which places are the best. I have been looking on websites and theres the scottish carp group is this worth joining let me know all information would be greatly appreciated. thanks and hope to hear from you soon kenny.

As far as I know, Ron Woods is still the man to speak to. I know him reasonably well, through the P.A.A.S. and he's a very easy guy to have a blether with. Give him a bell or drop him an E-mail and I'm fairly sure he'll fill you in with anything you need to know about.

You have local coarse fisheries at Eliburn (Livingston) and Magiscroft (Cumbernauld). I do all sorts of fishing inc coarse so I can give you some info. If you wish pm. me a phone no and I can give you more infomation. I also fish the canals up here and do some piking if this is of interest.

There was an article a couple of weeks ago about Magiscroft in Advanced PoleFisherman. If you can find a copy it was most informative (I read it at a friends house or I would send it to you).
