Excellent program I think. The only trouble is that its on when i'm in bed or when I'm fishing.

I have searched and searched for a downloadable version legal or otherwise but have had about as much luck as Sven. Can anyone help me??

What you want is a PVR (personal video recorder), basically a digi-box with a hard disc drive in it. Obviously I'm not suggesting you buy one just to listen to recorded radio programmes but they are a great piece of kit anyway. I haven't used my VHS since the day I bought mine. The one I got is a Humax, at the time it was £150, they are probably cheaper and better featured now.

Just looked on Currys site. The latest Humax is now £189 but it has a five times bigger disk drive than mine and two tuners so you can watch one programme and record another. There are cheaper ones as well.

A good show and one of the very few programmes on TalkSport without a political agenda.

Perhaps if the management put as much effort into providing extra features (like listen again) as they do as slagging off the BBC (which does provide the service) the programme would have a greater audience.

 

A cheep radio/cassette and a timer would solve the early morning problem, or record from freeview on a VCR

 

But hey, it's a good way to start the day. Two hours of peace and quiet without the wife, bliss.
