hey, i've had quite a break from carp fishing now, i did a bit of summer sea fishing, but decided i cant let carp fishing go lol, i just want a little bit of advice on fishing for them this time of year really, i know that every water is different.

but all i want is a little of advice on what carp are usually like this time of year? not long after they've spawned? is this one of the prime times of year to catch them? a little advice on what i may expect would be great

PB Mirror Carp: 10lb 7oz

PB Common Carp: 7lb 7oz

They 'should' be feeding up for winter in theory now, but Sept can be very good or pretty slow in my experience. Probably better than a spell of hot and still weather but it varies so much from day to day and water to water that you can really never make any generalisations.
