Dungannon Park is indeed a very nice place - I've spent time in Dungannon (with friends there) for many years - unfortunately a quiet 'word' might be in order. This area used to be 'Bandit Country Central' not too many years ago, and an absolute no-go area for anyone English.

Regrettably - unbelievably(!), there ARE still issues bubbling just under the surface here, even today, and it manifests itself in the younger / current generation, fostered by the older ones. On the face of things, and in public it's a very nice place, tourist friendly etc ... but spend time in ANY bar there, and at some point the 'collecting box' will circulate, at which point some will be very obvious in their 'donations', and few others present will not put at least a token amount into the box ... and it ain't headed for the church roof! :-( ... and if you're in the town centre on a Sunday morning, you might want to look a little closer at the local 'parade', too.
