Me,Darnsarf and Phooey ended up fishing the Hamble river,launched around midnight caught silver eels and school Bass.We had a look at Christchurch there was no way you could have fished that! :wallbash: The Hamble was remarkably sheltered---dead flat :yeah:

Next weekend we'll be coming back onto the springs - will the tide not be too strong?

 

 

we've fished loads of Springs there,never had a problem---wouldn't want to mix a big wind and a spring though :headhurt: talking of big winds Zzippy didn't have anything to do with that tornado did he :rolleyes:

Drop it round to me :D

 

Tried to get out on Sunday afternoon, went to the Hamble, thought you said it was dead calm :D had to buy two more straps just to keep the kayaks on the rack, it was mental, we could have made it around to the motorway bridge but getting back would have been a real problem with the tide and wind so decided to give it a miss.

 

Might join you if it's a late one this weekend.

Sunday was a different story. On Saturday I fell asleep under the motorway bridge :whistling:
