Getting paint off leather

A safe way would be lots of saddle soap which might loosen the paints grip on the leather but it prob take some working off. Which ever you chose try a small area first and be ready with the saddle soap/leather restorer to treat it straight after to minimise any damage.

Just out of interest could you paint over the paint with black paint (poster or water based) or perhaps boot polish?
