Sorry another highlight met Gannet from Ireland-what a gent.

Think he was impressed with "Gods Country" and is back shortly with the good lady!

When I hooked up with the big girl I shouted to him and he thought I was hooked on the bottom!

The place is lush :)

Thanks Snatcher, glad you arrived home safely :) There were times when I became seriously concerned for your wellbeing particularly when you set off down the cliff towards the foghorn mark however we had a ball :D Must not forget our guide and boatman Freddie who tried everything to put us on the fish a true gentleman.Enjoyed tack 4's tackle class, meeting ourwullie80,Dale,Terry,Chris and other AN members in the Clash who for some reason I have forgotten their names I shall return at the end of July or early August to try for the silver fellows which reminds me, congratulations Snatcher on your first Bass, better than Millers eh?

Safety habits last a lifetime.

I told Freddie the bass that you were sorry to miss him to say farewells. He said no probs and he thinks that you a gentleman as well.

Yes Tom everyone had a great time and laughs all round.

When I go back up the caravan 2 weeks on Friday and the wife sees that there is no damage

I will sort out a date for next years extravaganza and post it up :):)

Hope to see you shortly Tom in "Gods Country" - see I told you it was

Thursday

By christ dale can snore ......too exited about boat session and unable to sleep got up at 03:30 drove into stranaraer to work to get online to check work emails (sad or what)

)4:30 went plugging for couple hours in lochryan to no avail next stop tescos for fresh provisions and petrol and back to drummore for a bacon roll

Boat launched at 09:00 off for mackie then after pollack which we found had been spooked by another charter fishing the reef at the wrong state of tide and for too long result largest pollack approx 4lb on our boat Posted Image

don't know what snatcher si sitting on here

Posted Image

the tope had other things on their minds (? mating early) and Ian's boat only produced five the whole day in a strengthening 4-5 ( LUMPY!!!!)stocked up on a lash of mackie for spanners rubby -dubby

me feathering for mackie before i asked " where are they Chis?"

Snatcher replys " in the sea mate..........." Posted Image

on shore with wobbly legs why is the room going up and down? to find a cow had taken a liking to my nearside rear tail light smashing the lens  Spike took time at the end of the session to fillet a few mackeral for us, explaning how to present them boneless and like trousers for reluctant kids to enjoy

my lot scoffed them down in a flash cheers Spike

Friday was a bit of a washout so the tacks went to visit the snatchers in the van we arrived in the midst of a chess challange and kyle took on the winner and got thumped but played a much better second game

Posted Image that game over dale victorious the Labarynth challange was decide with kyle clinching the deciding last game :D:D

the presentations took place of the haeviest fish awards

on the way home stopped at terrally bay to pass on some rag and lug to saint and a blether with him and spanner

their session although wet was producing mackeral, bass, tub gurnard and grey gurnard.....

I parted with promises of meeting up again in the future.
