bag Limits Might be Closer Than You Think!

There are twelve Sea Fisheries Committees (SFCs) that regulate local sea fisheries around virtually the entire coast of England and Wales out to 6 miles

 

 

So if i read this right the SFC regulate out to six miles so if you go boat fishing beyond six miles

and you catch your fish there i take it bag limits will not apply

In essence yes, but how do you get back through the 6 mile limit without breaking the regulation. Outside the 6 you could keep as much fish as you want, once in the 6 its a breach of the regulation if you were to have more than your limit. That is assuming the legislation would be under SFC byelaws, if its national legislation then it doesn't matter where you fish 4, 6, 8, 12 or 30.
