Count me in, work permitting of course.

 

I've got an electronic chart program and looking at the Bay it looks like a good flatty spot. Just the plaice for a spot of fishing.

Handling surf without tipping out....mmmmmmmm. never encountered that one before as most of my launches have so far have been into reletively flat sea's,

but theres a first time for everything

yes .... learning support strokes and using the paddle to steer into left or irght will keep yopu in a straight line to the beach when encountering surf .... best thing to do is go out on the Yak without fishing gear and learn techniques abd kayak handling ..... ( beter in a club ) and once learnt it will be a more enjoyable experience all round ...
