does anyone know of an online translation engine that works.

still having problems with a lable on a bag with our trailer tent "car. chant"

and now a word "protique" in the instructions and "repare"

it must be the worst handbook in history even the english section uses terms such as :

assemblage demontable

assemblage repliable

assemblage telescopiique

 

french dont you love them!!

 

google translated protique into protic which was a help !!!

and just it case it wasent italian translated protique into protique

babelfish is the same as google it translates it to protic ,a word that doesent appear in our english dictionary.

it could be because its not part of a sentence! but as the rest of the sentence is english it wont help

even stranger the word protique doesent appear in the french version

the english version seems to be (unless the french is drawn out) half the french length

and the car chant as "because song".......errrrr

Hi Chester near as possible without seeing the label

car=because

chant=edgewise

repare =make good

protique probably a misprint pratique=to put into practicealso =handy

demontable=able to be taken apart

repliable= able to be folded

telescopique speaks for itself.

here's another possible if protique is a misprint, in the French and translated

right now for a hard one how do you translate a splendid PDF file from dutch to english

 

managed to extract the words now to go translating

Opzet instrukties Trigano Oceane, Chantilly, Cheverny, en Vendôme.

Wagen met neuswiel waterpas zetten en afdekzeil verwijderen.

Laat de 4 keukenpootjes zakken en verwijder het keukenblok.

Hierna de 4 hoeksteunen uitdraaien tot aan de grond en 1 of 2 slagen

aandraaien.

Let op niet te strak. Wagen moet gewoon op de wielen blijven staan!

 

Draai de bovenste plank om en let hierbij op dat u de 2e

stang tegenhoudt voor u de plank op de grond zet. Dit om

te voorkomen dat het frame doorslaat!

Draai de 2e plank om en stel hierna de slaapplanken

horizontaal.

 

Aan de rechterzijde het frame ca 30 cm uitschuiven tot

er 2 drukkers uitkomen. (Vendôme linkerzijde!)

 

Nu kunt u de tent aan voor en achterzijde van het dak

halen. Hierna kunt u de middennok omhoog klappen en vast

haken.

Leg een grondzeil neer en rol uw voortent uit en rits deze

aan uw wagentent.

Voortent niet geheel aanritsen maar hier stoppen zodat u

de voortent wat gemakkelijker op het dak van de wagen

kunt plaatsen.

 

De gehele voortent op het wagendak leggen.

Haak de 3 nokstangen van de voortent aan het

wagenframe.

 

Vervolgens zet u het gehele voortentframe in elkaar.

 

Zorg dat het voortent-frame op gelijke hoogte staat met

het wagenframe!

 

Hierna kunt u het voortentframe aan het wagenframe

koppelen met de 3 ingehaakte stangen.

 

Eventuele keukenuitbouw nog niet plaatsen om te

voorkomen dat u de voortent beschadigd aan de

omhoogstaande pennen van het keukenframe!

Hierna kunt u de voortent naar voren toe afrollen.

 

Petluifel stokjes plaatsen en petluifel van voortent over

de pennen bevestigen.

Van binnenuit kunt u nu het keukenuitbouwframe plaatsen.

Hierna kunt u de gehele tent afspannen. Zorg er voor dat op het moment dat u

de tent gaat afspannen alle ritsen dichtdoet om te voorkomen dat de tent te

strak afgespannen wordt waardoor u later de ritsen niet meer dicht krijgt en

er te veel spanning op u ritsen komt staan!

i suppose the problem is some of the words maybe "technical" and not plain dutch and camping "slang" hence half of it is untranslated .

what i need is a camp dutch person as it were.

 

i have emailed our dutch member jerry weijers

hopefully he can cast light on the errr slither bits
