P13 crate

Just got my new P13 and need a crate to fit the rear tank well. Any ideas?

A few of the p13 owners use a cool box, Igloo I think. I'm sure one of them will put you in the right direction.

 

If you dont want a crate or coolbox then it's worth looking at the Wychwood game bag, it has a large inner compartment, has a rigid insert, loads of pockets and zipped mesh pouches and it has a zip and strap lid for surf launching. Oh and it's waterproof.

Hi Rich, Tesco's do a crate for under £2 fits perfectly

after many attempts I came up with this conclusion:

 

boxes are ok but could not find one strong enough and the correct one to fit.

 

coolbag is not rigid enough

 

I have the NZ new model p13 and the tesco crate is too small imo and not rigid enough plus everything gets wet

 

so i decided upon a igloo quart 24 coolbox like richis

I've got the same, or very similar, Wychwood bag and I used it on a couple of trips. Great bag, really handy..... till I found the zips corrode really quickly despite getting rinsed after each trip....

Might go for both and put a bag inside the crate so I can remove it for shorter trips

Hi,got myself a folding crate today from Homebase and it fits my Prowler spot on and at £2.49 it's a bargan

Also got a folding crate from Meyer's hardware, mine was even cheaper
