landing nets

Hi

after a very good weekend with some goodsized fished the only bad thing was that my landing net broke. i am looking for a new net but i only have a £30 budget.

i am looking for a net with a telescopic pole. I seen a few on the net and i realy like the JRC 42" specialist net.Is net net any good or is there some other nets i am overlooking

It's far cheaper to buy a new bit that broke and keep using the rest. I've done that numerous times.

 

I'd avoid the telescopic handle they aren't as strong. Get one in two sections instead, far better - mine is 6ft with a 3ft extender.

Not sure when the next one is but fishing shows/festivals are the best place to buy tackle.

 

At the recent Go Fishing show at Thorpe Park I picked up a quality 42" net with pole for £2 from a second hand stall and there were loads of net+pole combos from reputable companies for under £10.

 

Might be an idea to see if there are any similar coming up.

that sounds like a very good idea james.the problem is i am going for a 48h session with some friens of mine next weekend so i need something soon.

 

rob.as it is the net i had was a present so it was cheap and very flimsy so it ended in the bin

I can tell you now you wont be disapointed with the JRC landing nets performace its fantasic i used to have one my self and i still do i just use my greys one now
