Remmber it is inportant that you stay warm so layer up, i think you should use a normal bolt rig with pinapple popup on a hair rig. put the method mix in a pva bag with the rig and then cast about 60 yds out and i think you will almost denfinatly catch. any other problems email me EdwardBarrell@aol.com thight lines m8

Could i have some tips on bait and method and stuff please guys

My local river is quite small so i decided to take some worms down i used a float and chucked out lots of red magots and had a big worm on my hook. By the end of the day i managed to bag up 30lbs of perch and some of these perch weight was 5lbs i am very proud of this catch and glad i fished this small river. in westbury

mainly Carp, tench, barbel and chub are luncheon meat baits i like to cover mine in chilly powder from tesco i had a 15lb carp last winter on that

Stay away from fruit baits and dont hand out much use spicey baits my fav is Monster crab, and another good one is Squid and octopus happy fishing ><)))*>

I always have been the fan of Monster crap bollies and squid and octopus fruity baits in the winter are very unefective and you should avoid hand outs Happy fishing /. / . / ><)))*>

[size=5]It really does depend on what your happy with if your one of those people happy with one fish all day then its brillient, just remmber if you are fishing in the winter stay away from thr fruity baits and got to the smelly baits like Monster crap for me i enjoy winter carp fishing. If you can catch a carp in the winter it proves yout a skillful angler. Good luck Edward B
