Yak out of water.

Recommended Posts

Hi All.

Especialy our newer members.

Just a quick word of warning about sitting on your Kayaks while out of the water, i.e. on the grass etc.

The Scupper tunnels inside the Kayak could suffer damage from your activities.

The rocking and distortion of the hull while out of the water could possibly cause it to crack around the scupper holes.

At best you should lower yourself gently and keep movement to a minimum, but best not to do it at all.

Just a thought.

Bill. :)

Oh well thats me snookered then, I spend more time on the lawn wishing I was fishing than I do on the water ;)

1 on the lure is worth 2 from the bait.

Hi GB.

Yes I do a lot of that too......but having had the therapy, I now find myself just cuddling the Yak on the grass.

Far better than fully mounting her, especialy in this cold weather.

Next is a sleep therapist to try and curb my paddling whilst in bed.

Im just glad the sport hasnt got too firm a grip on me :D

Bill dont worry to much about your condition.

Since I was 6 year old (not that long ago) when I started fishing my time is divided between the following things.

In no particular order; Fishing, getting ready to go fishing, cleaning up after going fishing, working to earn money to go fishing and buy fishing related things, doing chores to earn brownie points to go fishing, thinking about fishing, scheeming about fishing trips, watching fishing, reading about fishing, talking about fishing, eating fish and dreaming about fishing.

I think I have a very balanced lifestyle, dont you think.

Thats a cracking photo Martin

Wont be long before you will have to buy a tandem ;)
