Fishing For Mackerel- Weather Conditions etc.....

im going to be fishing for mackeral on friday, but the weather is going to be slightly dull and the wind is forecast to be 17mph, will this effect my chances?

Dullness is fine - infact probably its quite positive. Wind not so good, but just depends where you are fishing and what direction the wind is coming from. The nearer you can get the sea to look like a mirror the better it is for mackerel but a slight chop wont cause any harm.
