Most of the telecomms suppliers add a penalty charge to bills which won't be settled by Direct Debit.

 

Virgin Media charge £5. Which sucks - but as their service itself and anything with the Virgin brand on it sucks the big monkey , £5 IMHO comes as no surprise.

Paid mine by online banking - less the £4.50, sent them a letter saying they can pay 'BT Payments ltd' if they like, as I don't have any contract with said company I wont!

Asked them to send me a copy the contract I had signed which allows them to ask a separate company to bill me? be interesting as it must be 25 years since I got my phone line from them.

Jealousy: totally irrational anger directed at people who happen to be richer, prettier, thinner, cleverer and more successful than you are.
