rivetts

Hi all, I am just in the pcocess of fitting my anchor trolley and have done all of the ropework. I now need to fit the small alanite cleat and the clamcleats, which I am still waiting for.

Having never used a rivett gun before and not knowing anything about different types of rivetts can anyone advise me on whether or not I can rivett the anchor line locking alanite cleat ? as they would need to be around 40mm long ?? and what type of rivetts will I need for the clamcleats when they arrive.

Cheers

Rob

you don't use rivets see here

Yes you do !! it quite clearly states mark, drill and rivett the clamcleats cl213 and 214 into position ??

I know in the pics the alanite cleat is bolted into position with 40mm m4 bolts but it is a very fiddly awkward job, hence why I asked if it was possible to use rivetts instead !

personally i'd bolt on the anchor line cleat , not as hard as it looks on the prowler. perfectly accaptable to rivett on the cleats to lock the trolley. Hook one in the USA sell the klampite type which work well and are easily fixed in place. buy a few bags as they do come in handy.

back in stock at the end of June Simon.

Ok Prowler 13
