More Carp Get Chipped

I'm not so sure. It only works if the majority of carp are chipped and if a suspected stolen fish can be captured and traced back. My understanding was that currently the EA cannot net a lake for example to search for suspected stolen fish, so how can they check if the fish are legit or not ?

Went to willowcrofts new catfish lake last weekend, they said all their cats (315) and the speci carp are all now chipped. First time i'd heard of it.

Did you catch or did getting them chipped disturb them?? I know a few times when a lake has been topped up e.t.c e.t.c fish dont bite for months and gets boring.
