Went out in the garden this morning and spotted this "baby snake"

Almost 4" long

 

I hope it survives and becomes a giant moth :)

 

I thought it was a Privet hawk moth, but it isn't :) Quick check on Google hasn't helped much.

I was thinkings "snake - snake in his garden"? Was about to say next visit we stay inside for tea - no more visits to your garden. :unsure::unsure:

Ha Ha Jan :) After i got those pics the "monster" dissapeared.

 

Hazel went out to the greenhouse about 15 mins ago and there it was again! going back to where it came from no doubt.

 

I couldn't resist picking it up, actually it crawled on to my hand....

You will be in good company when you visit since Jan & I both tend to run heavily to 'silly' at times.
