3am Mudeford launch

Recommended Posts

Launched from the quay at 3,bit of a westerly but nothing like last night.

Soon made it round to pout hole and anchored up.

Had 2 rods out to start(had even brought some ragworm and 3 rods as I was determined not to blank)both with Squid on pennel rigs.

Dead on 4am----hefty bite and we're away, felt like a Conger but wasn't putting up the usual fight.Got it to the surface -----------

5.20am and Conger no.2 for the session was on the hook, thankfully lip hooked this time!

I must go down to the sea again

To the lonely sea and sky

I left my shoes and socks there

I wonder if they're dry?

03:00 start :o

Well done Richi,

It's dedication like that which sorts the men from the buoys or the fishers from the fishless.I suspect you're a nutter and also that we'd get on very well,

Cheers Jon.
