Zone alarm

I've installed and uninstalled Zone Alarm pro, Why????

 

 

I cannot access the internet thru it, i've put trusted sites etc but nothing.

I bet its a simple click on something to allow internet access,

 

Anyone know how or what i have to do to allow the internet conection please

Are you sure it's a firewall problem? If you shutdown Zonealarm can you access the net?

You can try - switch off zone alarm, access internet, switch zone alarm back on.

 

Conversely, I dumped it in favour of http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/

 

Seems to do as good a job, is just as configurable and in six months hasn't let me down.

To get the tutorials i need to be online,

read the instructions/ info when you install it should find a new network if your broadband it will ask if you want ie/ff to access the inter net tick the little box that says remember this action then

just click yes and you should be set up ok.

Is Pro the paid for version of Zone Alarm? If so, I had no end of troubles with it and ended up ditching it in favour of the free version!

I completely dumped Zone alarm in favour for Kaspersky.

 

ZA seemed to be a resource hog and slowed my comp down no end.
