In France we call this plant " herbe a pampa " ...pampa grass. It ' s very common .

The boatnical name is Cortaderia selleana.

With the stems yan can make very good wagglers after painting and varnishing.

December is the best month for the harvest.

Nice. We have Pampas Grass growing here (quite a bit of it in fact) but had never thought of a use for it.
