Help needed with divx2 file

The link I posted earlier http://labs.divx.com/DrDivXDownload may possibly be the elusive Divx2. (Jeepster?)

 

I downloaded the first one (Not the Beta), and this is what the information window tells me:

 

 

You'll have to refer to the documentation that comes with the install, because I've not had time to play with it yet.

Hi guys, i said a would keep you posted and below is the info i got back from my daughter. Thanks again for your help.

 

I have given up on the divx2 thing and believe me I've tried and tried to find something that works - from what I've read over the past week or so it is a divx2 codec that i need but the only way I seem to be able to get it is to join a porn site!!!! The divx version 2 and dr divx2 are different to what i need. I was going to try the divx pro but I would have to pay for it and I wasn't entirely sure if that had the divx2 codec - I seem to have divx3, 4 and 5 on pc already! and I really didn't want to pay for something I couldn't use

 

What I've ended up doing is compressing my jpegs using picture manager and then resizing them to the 640 x 480 pixels that the frame uses before I upload them into ulead to make my movie. It's a lot of mucking around but once it's done I don't have to do it again. By doing that and changing my .mov files to .mpeg1 files I have managed to reduce one of my movies from 594mb to 139mb. I figure that's pretty good compression - now the plan is to buy a bigger sd card that what i've got and i will be able to get everything I want to play no probs.
