Keeping Lobworms and Dendras alive

Brilliant article Leon, but I would like to try and keep the lobs as they weren't cheap to buy in the first place!!

I usually keep the lobs I've gathered for around 3 weeks or more in a bucket in a cool place with wet shredded newspaper (make sure that any damaged or unhealthy looking worms are removed frequently, or you will lose the lot. A ventilated lid on the bucket stops the paper drying out).

The problem you have is not knowing how long the lobs you bought have already been out of the ground :(

Left some unused lobs in a tub in my garage in mid November. Have been in OZ since. Came back this week and the lobs are still alive and kicking.

Just release them in the garden when you've finished your fishing trip and go dig some more when you need them.........easy.
