Have a look at November issue of Boat Fishing, there is a four page article about Tuna fishing in the UK.

Good luck with the expedition!

Phil, anything with a f in it intertests you. I am interested.

Tackle could be a problem as could skippers expertise. Getting excited again.

What do you mean Alan????? Posted Image

Trying to calm down but it's not working.

There's a museum in Scarborough I think which gives more info on the 30's and 50's scene, if anyone lives near this may be a good place to start picking up the info.

fishing in the states. and english colder waters will be a diferent as tuna look for fish near the surface and requires trolling with large lures.also a very good way to fish is drifting with chum feeding over the side, constantly for hours. bait when drifting is the sardine this is for very big fish which you will probably catch in the north sea. coulours of lures depend on the coulour of the sea, bright coulours if the sea is murky. and dark coulours if the sea is clear.troll near to the boat as near as 10mts

First thing is to get Xmas over

Then we need to find 1 2 or 3 Boats that are willing to have a go

See if we can get a more people on board

If we all go sea fishing we could have a fishing trip to get to know each outher

Etc Etc
