how to keep bait

sorry about all the questions

 

i sent a topic into the forum but it has not come up yet so i writing it again

 

what is the best way to keep my bait fresh and how long can it be stored for without going rotten and stinky, i collect my own bait such as black lug, peeler crab, lug worm, razor fish, catch my mackeral in the summer and save it through out the year, i buy my sandeel and squid, but i cant keep it decent enogh to use and never catch using it.

 

i just need to know how to store and keep it all fresh because i just freeze it and it goes nasty when thawed the black goes mushy and horrible how can i keep that fresh for a while without freezing it.

could you please help with all the above baits please

The reason why your other post hadn't shown is because, being new to the forum, posts need to be approved by one of the moderators.
