Why not? No one recommended against them and for use with thicker baits, several have strongly recommended them.

best bet would be to go to your local tackle shop and ask to see a pack to observe the difference, they are good for big baits as suggested, sweetcorn is best hooked in my opinion on wide gaped hooks

wait wait wait, dip, strike, net, wait wait wait.....
