Catching Shrimps for bait

Lid:

So how do these contraptions work Alan? Do the shrimp simply wander in and then stay there?

Seems like it, there is a fine mesh funnel at both ends, once in they have a problem getting out. I can see the principle just by looking at it but have to get my hands on one. Bit of bait inside but how do you open them? As I said not much help but I will be looking into it. Have a good and safe holiday.

I bought my pushnet from the Morning Watch Tackle Shop in Jersey. I was after one for some time and last year I called several advertisers in one of the angling mags before finding one that sold them but I did not buy one at the time. I can't remember off hand who it was. :confused:
