I have fished for mullet in spring and summer. best results came at lewes in east sussex, on the tidal stretch, about seven mles inland. I fished using a light ledger with two hook lengths top and bottom like flat fish rigs. Rag worm worked well, I cast from the bank between the concrete pillars on a bridge. The surface is mud and chalk rocks, the mullet bite best an hour before and after high tide. great fun with light tackle, I started using carp gear.

In fact it ALL looks good! Is that two rivers meeting? One coming in from the bottom of the picture, and one coming in from the middle right?

Or do I need glasses?

Nice bladderwrack beach btw..
