At the time of writing 56 people have viewed the October Comp final 6, but only 5 have voted. Strange is that!!

wouldn't people who have already voted, and come back to see the votes that have been cast on the pictures, also count as having "viewed" that thread? I know I periodically check....

I tend to scatter my pics all over the forums as and when I feel the need

 

Although I applaud Judys "new topic" I feel it will just reduce the original pic of the day entries, and that will simply die from starvation.

perhaps members that dont frequent this board feel they should not vote ,might it be worth starting a picture of the day thread on non fishing chat ,may get some more interest ,just a thought

 

 

Reading another forum today, seeing the above and coments? I wonder? things do seem to draging a bit on the forum these days, or is it me???? Any how, the other forum have a weekly comp, themed, one entry per person. starts Friday night, pictures posted by Monday evening judging and voting by Thursday, not sure how the judging works. Then back to Friday, seems lively, a month is a real drag, IMHO, especialy without a theme. May be 14 days is better?

I doubt it will die , I also doubt that many members will post on my new thread but just an odd post now and then would be nice perhaps i should re name it catch of the day.I f you check on coarse fishing there is a thread running ,i am doing my best to get postings on this pic of the day,

All I meant Judy, was that pics are pretty thin on the ground anyway, so having another topic running will simply thin them out even more. So I take a nice pic which I think may be of interest but have several places I can post it.....which one?????????
