Putting a picture up

Hi Yakity

Unless you have some webspace where you can link to an image you have already uploaded, the easiest way to add an image is to simply add an image as an attachment.

Below the text area box where you type your posts there is the File Attachments box. Click the Browse button and the select the image you wish to upload. You will probably need to resize the image before adding it as an attachment as there is a file size limit I think.

yes that's what I do too Bill.First I connect my camera and open the finepix viewer then I open the image that I want to post and save in my pictures. Then i click on the browse button on the add attachment area and then it opens my pictures then I select the picture I want to post. After that it uploads and you must click on add to post----it is a pain when you have got to resize though like I have had to many times-----------I reckon if a Flaming loony can do it you can too Yakity ----good luck mate

Never mind the loony - can a NUMPTY like me do it?

I have to confess Richi - I didn't fully understand all of what you have said - some difficult words in there, like "upload" (I understand "front load" It's what the girls at the pub wear!!) and "open the finepix viewer" - is that some kind of slide viewer then?

I shall have to fire the other computer up and see what I can do with this 'ere picture lark. It won't be tonight, because I need to have something to load - tommorrow perhaps having taken pictures of the trolley in the pouring rain!
