Some years ago I aquired an Intrepid Prince Regent (black)

 

The fold mechanism of the handle has evidently broken, as it is Araldited in the user position.

 

The gears are virtually stripped.

 

I have never, ever, used an Intrepid - not this one or any other - we used to call them "guzzle" reels - if you wonder why, just wind an Intrepid fixed spool and listen to what it says!

 

Is the above of any use/value to anyone? I don't want anything for it, but suggest a modest donation to the ACA for half the reel's value would be in order.

2 types of black prince,regent,challenger,diplomat,rola,monarch 66,3 types of elite,2 colours of boyo,classic,supreme,standard,3 colours of monarch,deluxe,truespin,2 colours of continental,surfcast,new deluxe,envoy,fisher7,extra,2 types of junior,2 types of prince regent.

i am still looking for ....cresta,regent deluxe,supertwin,consort,monarch super,sk200 and chairman.

or colour variations of above ,i thought there were just a few models i am surprised on how many there are (or could be) anymore help would be appreciated,my letter on the falmouth newspaper resulted in 1 reply a tightlines catalogue
