Anyone familiar with "The Middle Pool" in Telford - West Midlands

OI OI they/he dosent know were he lives cos it aint west midlands it's shropshire i should know i lived

on sutton hill in telford for 12yrs before moving to geordie-land & the middle pool is in dawley so come on get your fact's right before you post, but there is some good fishing there anyone visiting call in at the rod &

gun dawley they'll keep you right.

The middle pool is in trench not dawley. Are you sure your talking about the same pool. The pool were talking about has got the trench pool the other side of the bridge and is next to 'hutchisons uk limited'. But i agree with one thing if you need to know where to fish go to rod and gun in dawley and talk to duncan. Hell its in trench, not DAWLEY.

There are catfish upto 20 pounds in the middle pool ,never heard of a 50 pound carp coming out caught them upto 36 pounds myself. Very hard water to fish night fishing best.

The Middle Pool is in fact owned by T.A.A (Telford Angling Association) this is not an advertisment i am just simply interested in how many people had fished my local pool.

 

I’d be interested to learn more about the origins of these 50lb carp?
